Thesis: So it begins

I’ve decided to extend my work on user tagging / folksonomy into my master’s thesis and I’ll be working with Steve Jones as my advisor. Right now I’m starting on the proposal where I will try to situate tagging as it relates to classification and language, library and information science, and communication / community online. So that’s quite a task in addition to the other things I have going on this summer, but I’m looking forward to working on it.
